Goldsytch Shetland Updates – Feb 2010 to August 2011

Tuesday February 23rd 2010 – I restarted the Goldsytch Miniature Shetland Pony stud, which my parents founded in the 1970s. Morjoy Tulip and Goldsytch Gradbach were delivered to our farm.

Tuesday May 11th 2010 – Morjoy Tulip’s birthday – She is 7 years old.

Friday May 14th 2010 – Goldsytch Gradbach went in with Morjoy Tulip for a foal in April 2011.

Monday May 24th 2010 – Goldsytch Gradbach’s birthday – He is 22 years old.

Wednesday June 2nd 2010 – Farrier came out to do Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip’s feet.

Friday July 9th 2010 – We wormed Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip.

Wednesday October 27th 2010 – Farrier came to trim Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip’s hooves.

Sunday January 9th 2011 – We moved Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip into Gradbach’s origional field.

28th February 2011 – Morjoy Tulip prematurely gave birth to a stillborn colt foal. She was later separated from Goldsytch Gradbach and put into her own field.

22nd April 2011 – Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip had their feet trimmed by farrier and were wormed.

Friday 3rd June 2011 – Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip were put together into Tulip’s field.

Monday 13th June 2011 – Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip had feet trimmed by farrier. Farrier announced them to be laminitus free.

Friday 22nd July 2011 – Goldsytch Gradbach and Morjoy Tulip were wormed.

Friday August 5th 2011 – Hermits Velvet Rose and Mignon Velvet arrrive.

Monday 8th August 2011 – Gradbach and Tulip have feet trimmed by farrier.

August 26th 2011 – Begin to seriously halter train Mignon Velvet (Victor).

August 28th 2011 – Agree to buy Mignon Velvet (Victor)
